About
Early in 2013, I was overwhelmed by the astronomical prices that original art was selling for at various auction houses and galleries across the world. With that in mind, I set out to give 365 pieces of original art back to anyone, anywhere in the world for free. But this project evolved into so much more than making art accessible. I realized half way through that I was doing a project about happiness and relationships. It made me understand even more how much joy and pleasure art brings to people's lives. For me, having a piece of original art was always about the inspiration and connection to the artist. However, the stories I've read from all of you have meant so much more and also made me better understand what I was doing and its importance to our continued globalization. Regardless of where you are in the world following the project, the true universal language we all shared is one through art and this book captures that experience!
